They are not, but you can choose whoever you you want to do your install. You just tell Safelite who you want to install and they have to refer you to the installer of your choice. Allstate will have you talk to Safelite and Safelite will handle the claim, but you can select the shop to install. Several insurance companies use Safelite because they save big bucks by providing a less expensive product. Most people just don't know they have rights and fall in like sheep and in my opinion get a royal screwing.
