I'm looking to get my passport soon cause there's a place just over the border near Detroit that gets southern boxes. i have a few people looking into some contacts that bring stuff up here too. My biggest thing is getting a steering column for the 4x4.
Plus i've always wanted to check out some junkyards in the states....i have only been to one and it was very small of just old cars and trucks in my area which is very very rare. I literally was like "Can i have all of it?"
aside from shipping i can think of about a dozen of those that could be sent your way...

If i dont have any luck with finding something locally, that would be perfect. Don't matter if its a auto or manual i plan on running a B&M that im buying off a good friend of mine.
i could sniff around for one i'd just be concerned on the shipping front as i'm sure it's not cheap to ship something to Canada. but if you'd like me to do some sniffing i can.

Don't think the shipping would be too bad, if i dont find anything locally its better then having nothing. I've ordered stuff from the states before through rock auto and it wasn't bad unless i was getting rotors and drums, weight is a huge factor i've noticed on the shipping costs. Bought like $300+ worth of parts and only had to pay like 40-60 in shipping. Bunch of brake parts, ignition module, long drag link( for 23 bucks lmfao!), front calipers for 20 bucks each...etc etc....sometimes i love rockauto and i have yet to have a part fail on me prematurely.
Didn't get much done today, as i just spent the last 3 hours running around town trying to get a bearing locknut socket for the D60 and every single place i went to either didnt have it or only had the socket for the D44's. Going to see a buddy tomorrow morning to see if he has one but im going to try and get one through my work.
Only thing i got finished was buttoning the rear up, filled with fluid and ready to be bolted back up to the frame.

If you can track down the right diameter pipe you can make one... just a thought

Out of all the scrap metal and crap my dad has....didn't have the right size, but i did find one at my place that might be a lil small but i could make it work if my buddy doesnt have the right size.

I hate unproductive days, kinda a bummer =(
working on these things is a lot of hurry up and wait... you make great progress for a few weeks and then you hit a stretch where nothing happens while you track down parts and as you found out tools... i made i think 4 custom tools when rebuilding my front axle....
