I'm trying to get parts together for my project Cobalt and I want to have speed control in it. I've seen some New Old Stock servos for dirt cheap but they say they are for either an SUV or for a car, not a truck. But they look IDENTICAL to the T.
Does anybody know if these surveys are actually the same part, or are they really different? There have been plenty of times where Ford has taken the same part and syamped a different part number on it just to differentiate between truck and car.
My understanding it's the same servo, the only difference is the servo cable length and perhaps the throttle body end connector. Easily swapped.
These New Old Stock servos that I am seeing on eBay don't come with anything besides the servo assembly itself. I don't mind going to the junkyard to get the cable and bracket and connector.
But if I can have a NOS Servo for 50 bucks, I'm all over it.
