Need help to id engine/tranny

Hi guys, looked at a '61 econoline truck today. Not at all familiar with them. I'm a 1 ton dually guy. The owner said it had a 300 6 and a c6 swapped in. I believe it's actually a c4 and god knows what for an engine

C4 trans for sure.

Unless I'm blind, the engine could be a 170, 200 or long shot 250, not a 300. There are enough differences to eyeball a 250, but also enough to discourage the prior owner from straying into a 250 swap.

More on the sixes:

This is a 300:

Note the size, how the manifolds stick out etc. 170/200/250 have an integral log intake manifold. 240/300s are bolt on.

I knew it wasn't a 300 having had one in my first truck. This just wasn't big enough. That would've been sweet though. I love that engine! I will admit to not knowing anything about the smaller sizes. As long as it isn't the 80 hp 144 I guess whatever it is would be a bonus.
