My radio and windows lose power after the vehicles has been on for 10 seconds sometimes after a few minutes. The do not come back on until I shut the vehicle off and turn it back on again and then repeats the process.
What is my bottom line all you excursion guys I am new to this.
Do some searching on this site. It is a common problem. IIRC there is a circuit board behind the dash that has a surface mount relay that goes bad though it usually causes the opposite problem (both stay off until you hit a bump or whack the dash with your hand). Also if you have the automatic A/C system it is also on the circuit. For me it tends to be a problem when the temps get above 100F (so almost year round....) and even then it is intermittent. Maybe 1 time a week. So for now I just put up with it.
Again, this is from a foggy memory but I seem to recall someone mentioning that the part is no longer available. If that is the case find someone with experience soldering surface mount components and either replace the relay or better yet wire in a outlet that will accept a standard plug in relay.
You have an '03 so that means it is very likely the instrument cluster going bad. That's where the accessory delay relay is, if I remember correctly. You might have some luck finding one at a scrap yard but I believe the mileage on the odometer will read whatever the truck it's pulled from had on it.
