Body Side Molding

Does anybody have a part number or source for the body side molding that goes on the doors over the top of the cladding. I have an 05 EX Eddie Bauer that I want to add body side molding to. I want black but I will probably have to buy the chrome and paint it.

I put black wheels on my EX and want to add some black on the body to help tie stuff together.

If you are speaking of the chrome strip embedded in the top of the cladding, it only comes with the cladding pieces from Ford.

As in you can't buy it separately? I just figured it was the same as the body side molding found on the super duty's.

The chrome piece comes with the cladding only.

The thought crossed my mind the other day...has anyone considered having the cladding hit with Rhinoliner? Not sure if that could then still be held on with the tape.

Yes it can and has been done. I've seen it up close with line-X and it looks great.

So they actually only rhino-lined the trim, not directly to the door?

I'm actually OK going directly on the door, but I don't know how the fenders would look - I don't know if the fender lines under the trim are the same contours as the trim itself is.

Now that they can tint the rhino-liner different colors, the possibilities are intriguing to say the least.
