You might try a paint and body shop supply store or ask at a paint and body shop. I used black body tape (wide pinstriping) to fill in a similar strip on another vehicle in the past. With a little patience during installation, it came out looking great.

I pulled mine off. I used 3m adhesive and wax remover get the double sided tape off the body. Then used a 6" orbital buffer and Meguire's fine cut cleaner to even the dull look and clean it. Then waxed the whole truck. I think it came out pretty nice and sets it apart from others. There are a couple of pics in my gallery if your interested
