After 5 weeks in the shop, finally picked up the Ex.
Brand new coat of paint, new badges, and PlastiDip on the wheels.
I couldn't decide if I would like the black wheels so I'll try this for a while and if i still like it in a couple months, I'll have them powder coated.
I've been going around with the black wheel idea. I have access to a set of HD wheels but would have to buy new tires. Not sure I like the look of them. Also not sure I like the look of a dirty black wheel. Still debating. Maybe black wheel with a chrome center cap.....hhmmmmmm
Curious, how much did it run you to get the new paint? That is something I may be looking into in the future few years...

Is that new body side molding? Not talking about the cladding but the chrome strips on the doors. My 05 Eddie bauer doesn't have those and I want to add them but am not sure where to get them.
Yeah, I have a Crown Vic cop car with that same look. Thats why Im worried about what it looks like when they're dirty.
I'm a retired LEO and didn't look at it like that but you are right. I miss having a CV. It was nice to have a car that you could take out the frustration on and it took it like a champ.

Nope. That is the original chrome plated trim. I think I'm going to PlastiDip that as well when I get a chance.
