I agree. That would set someone back about $2500.00 in parts.

Other options for the Dana 60/Ford 10.5" include Eaton E lockers/True Trac, Spartan, Detroit, Ox, Yukon.

If anything, you need more weight, over the rear axle. And, maybe a more aggressive self cleaning, off road type tread. Am I correct in assuming this is a two wheel drive dually with highway tread? With no load, that'll get stuck in wet grass. Traction, maybe airing down, and proper weight distribution will help, but as stated above, a locker would be the best solution, but not cheap.
