2014 4x4 front suspension difference

2014 4x4 front suspension difference
My brother just traded his 14 f150 5.0 in on a new 16 and he bought procomp zx2111 adjustable shocks that he never installed. Have a friend who has a 13 5.0 and we want to install them on his truck but box says they only fit the 2014 f150s. Just wanted to know what the difference is before we waste a day trying.

It's all in the lower mount. Here's a pic, '13 LCA on the left. '14 LCA on the right.

The '09-13 mount has a horizontal through bolt.
The '14+ mount has two vertical bolts.
Still not sure why Ford did this mount change on the last MY run before a big design change, but it sure did complicate things.
