1993 F150 4x4 with Quad front suspension
I attempted to change the front shocks and managed to snap of the bolt from the lower from shock mount. Does anyone know if i can just drill a hole and put a bolt in it? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I know what you mean about those lower front shock mounts. Mine broke also and I am thinking about welding a plate on both sides of that braket and then welding in a steel dowl that is threaded on the end. I thought about a bolt but wanted something that was stronger than the original plus on one of mine a piece of the bracket broke also so i was trying to think of a way to fix it. post some pictures of how you fix it when you are done. I will but probally will not get around to fixing it for a while since I am not very good at verticle welds and taking off the bracket is a lot of work. Good Luck
