7.3 Build - Pull Engine or In Frame?

I been collecting junk to bolt onto my engine for years and the time has come. Sending some 250/200 cores to Swamps to get freshen up. Parts I've collected include a modded H2e 66/71 with mount, ARP studs, springs and pushrods. I'll need to modify my RR or even do a fuel bowl delete for the H2e. Picked up a new oil cooler from CL. Truck is stock with BTS, HB Jr. HPOP, RR fuel, 4" exhaust, and a 15 year old DP 6 position tuner DP wont support anymore. I have gotten 241,000 absolutely problem free miles out of this 2000 Ford F250 4x4 CC truck since I bought it new in 1999. I plan on making the mentioned changes and get everything freshen up for another 250,000 miles. I need to replace the AC condenser, and looking hard at a different charged air cooler and a new radiator. Over the years I've seen a decrease in the cooling capabilities in this AZ heat. And its going to be seeing a lot more fuel too.
I am planning on pulling the motor to do the work on a stand. I'm bit **** and think I could dial everything in better on a stand vs crawling around on top of it. For those that have pulled one, will the extra work be worth it for what I have to do? Any other items I need to take care of if I pull the engine?

you are better off pulling the engine if you plan on opening the oil pan. they are almost impossible to properly replace/seal in the truck.

I hadn't planned on pulling the pan. I may have been tempted to plastigauge the bearings but I'm the original owner and know the maintenance schedule. The thing should be tight.
What were you thinking? Changing the pan? What's the deal with the dip stick tube? Is there a problem with it leaking?
I guess I could take a look at the cooler jets. Is there a mod to braze or mig those things in place to prevent them from falling out?
Arizona truck, not a speck of rust.

usually the reason for pulling the pan is to replace it due to rust issues causing oil leaks. .
if you do not plan on pulling the pan, than i would do the work in truck.
