Where is the fuel pump driver module on a 2001 Ford Excursion V-10?

What performs that function? Is it integrated in the pump?

Depends on the year...I think...in your year there's a relay under the hood. On my '05, it's integrated into the CJB under the steering column.

Electric fuel pumps give no warning...they just fail. If you look at my thread, there is some good info about diagnosing a no start condition. Sometimes a good whack on the can jar it into running long enough to get you home...although that big skid plate is in the way.

I know a water leak in SDs can cause a problem with the electronics.

I'm on my 3rd fuel pump, and the current one probably has 30,000 miles (purchased from a Ford dealer) so I hope it isn't the fuel pump. Mechanic says pressure spikes initially then drops to zero.

I hope the same too, for ya.

When I bought my pump last week, dealer told me it has a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty and that Ford will pay $150 towards labor to replace it...

Ended up being the security system fuse. Mechanic said there was no evidence of water intrusion. He said if there was water coming in, it would have blown more than one fuse. Is this a known issue?

Glad you got it sorted...I pulled every fuse on my Ex when it wouldn't start (would crank but no start...would start on starting fluid) and they were all good.
