1995 f150 5.8l intermittent stalling with not check engine light
I have been reading threads about similar problems but they dont seem to fit my problem exactly. The truck will stall and restart after about 15 minutes. I can hear the fuel pump run when the key comes on but still no start. It doesn't matter if it is hot or cold. Below is some stalling history.
Let off the gas approaching a stop light. pulled off road and waited about 15 minutes and it started.
Going down highway about 60 MPH and let off gas and then back on gas and the truck bucked like it just turned of for about a second and then was fine.
Setting in driveway and started the truck 10 times and then the next try it wouldn't start. Tried several times to start and then all of the sudden it started.
I have replaced the Ignition switch, Ignition control module and the Ignition coil. I have swapped around the relays with the horn relays and this is not the fix. I am convinced that it is an electrical problem by the way it acts.
The fuel pump does just run for a second and then shuts off. I changed out the whole distributor last night. Ran good to work this morning. I will have to give it a couple of days to see what happens.
My 2003 f150 5.4l has been giving me the same problem, fist time it happened it died on me as i came to a stop and it idled down, i took off the battery cleaned the terminals and nothing, then it started out of a sudden, I've had it happen at least 7 times. I used starting fluid and it came on. Could it be a computer problem? Took it to the mechanic, he checked the battery, alternator. And starter and they're all in good shape. It's driving me crazy. What shall i do next? Help

You should really make your own thread in the correct 97-03 F-150 section. Your truck's engine, fuel injection system and electronics are completely different than the trucks in this section.
