TDR diesel fuel additives have been around for quite a while and were originally developed to solve fleet maintenance and fuel mileage issues. A few years ago, Amalgamated began selling in smaller quantities than 55 gallon drum for use by individuals.

What has impressed me most is the amount of product information available on the Amalgamated site with comparisons and fleet results. I've seen the additive praised on other forums as being both effective and cost effective.
I plan to give it a try when my Opti-Lube runs out.

In addition to the TDR line of additives which are either summer or winter full spectrum premium diesel additives, they also offer a line titled Diesel Pro. Lots of flexibility for those of us who want more oomph and protection and those of us who just want a little kick.

I'm curious as to what SkiSmuggs found out or if what happened with the TDR-FL product.

 

I not following the Amalgamated line any longer as I've settle on Opti-Lube and Better Diesel's FBC.
