I've never been able to get Torque to communicate with the PCM. I also have a Autel Maxidiag 801 pro, that seems to connect to some degree but won't actually do anything productive. I've also got an odd starting issue where it lopes VERY badly without a slight throttle input. I do mean slight, sometimes not even enough to raise the RPM.
So today I wanted to chase my suspicions of my TS-6 interfering. I pulled it out and viola, starts perfect. But still no data link from torque or my scanner. My scanner has a "component check" and that makes some relays click somewhere under the hood, and cycles the WTS light. So there is some sort of link.....
I know plenty of guys run Torque, but right now, I'm scared to even drop the $$$ on something like edge or AE b/c I'm afraid I have some sort of communication failure with the PCM. ANY ideas?
I have checked for voltage per wiring diagrams, and done ring outs from the PCM plug to the OBDII. Check fuses (power port and cig both in use, so I'd know if they popped), and checked voltage again. The scan tool will power up as soon as I plug it in. Also, when I run a "component check" on my scanner, I hear some relays click, and my WTS light cycles, so there is some communication to something..haha.
