Misfire problem
i have a 99 f150 4.6 and i have a misfire problem i believe. when i accelerate in all situations the truck has a loss of power and will shake. no engine code is being thrown. the first time i had this it was the spark plugs so i replace all 8 and my truck was fine. that was about 10k miles ago. a few months later the same thing was happening and a code was thrown and it was a misfire and i replaced the coil pack that caused it. now its happening again. i wonder if its the other coil pack because i only replace 1. (i have 2 coil packs with 4 spark plugs to each). any ideas on what could be causing this misfire.

you need the code for the specific cylinder or coil...... something else to remember is each time you work on a plug or coil, you remove and reinstall a few plug wires and power wires... may have a bad connection / cracked wire / corroded terminal ?
