I found a aircleaner on ebay still haven't bought it as it does not have the snorkel but I am not going to pay over $300 for a factory aircleaner even if its NOS.
but I know I am still running my oem one even though the base is all split to hell.
I got it. I might buy the cheaper one. Cant justify spending more than $15 to $50 for a whole aircleaner assembly used. Anything more than that and Ill just stick with what I have lol.

For sure...If you just need the housing/snorkel, I'll keep an eye out.
That's another thing is when I got the truck it wasn't running and there was no air cleaner setup, do you guys have a recommendation for a setup for a mild performance 460?
You "may" run into the same issue as Gary did with the angle of one of the snorkels hitting/rubbing. Gary has a thread somewhere here that explains how he dealt with it.
Have you ever powder-coated aluminum? These air cleaner covers require special treatment or the results aren't good. I'll share what I've learned if you want it.
Aluminum has pores, and the dirt and grease get trapped in them. All the cleaning in the world won't get it out, and media-blasting it peens the aluminum over, trapping the stuff in the pores. But, when you heat the part up to 400 degrees the "stuff" vaporizes and blows your powder off, leaving a pock-marked surface. I have one somewhere that is a result of that.
The fix is to clean the part as best you can, then put it in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour to bake off the "stuff". Then wash it with cleaner (I use O'Reilly's brand brake cleaner) and put it back in for another 30 minutes. When that's over wash it again, as you would any part you are getting ready to powder coat, and then coat it.
I media blast everything, including aluminum. Well, not my aluminum wheels as I wanted them shiny. But, media blasting gives good "tooth" for the powder to grip. But, for aluminum you really need to clean/bake it afterward - or else.
