Well found this hole today and figured it wasn't supposed to be there. Can someone enlighten me on the name of this part? By the looks I assume I can just replace that cover piece?
I might be mistaken about a manual not having one. Cause it definitely looks like a trans/flywheel inspection plate. If I were home I could look under mine to verify (I also have a manual 4 speed.) Do you know which 4 speed it is?

Yep, now that I know what the part is, the hole makes sense lol. Was partly worried since I'm fixing a few leaks and there was some dripping from the hole

Depends if our trucks have one piece or two piece seals. I believe they are one piece rear mains which means separating the trans from the engine to remove and replace.
