Alan Keyes, I havent seen him in Fox News in a long time. What is he doing?
Not sure. I just am still impressed with that one idea he had. Very telling why politicians won't implement it. Life will be much simpler now that we don't have to pay attention to the signs on restrooms. Thanks a lot Abraham Lincoln for your assault on states's rights!
A big admirer of Lincoln was Karl Marx. He had made the statement that what Lincoln had managed to do here would take a revolution in mother Russia
The same can be said for those that live in NY , Taxes , regulation , but most of all the cold wet weather , Why live in a place that you only have three months of nice weather , three of sometimes nice weather and 6 months of crap . I always wondered why the first settlers did not head south after the first winter . can you think what it was like for pilgrims , or those that settled in Canada .
Up here in Southern B.C. we have awesome weather. Sure we get the occasional cold front from the north but generally it's not too bad. We get better weather than the eastern seaboard or even Texas as a matter of fact when el nino heads this way the weather is great. We have the heaviest taxes in the western world though, I think. We are run by government owned Mega corporations which really sucks. As an example, ICBC has a monopoly on our auto liability insurance this is a Government of BC Corporation so they get you both ways through taxes and premiums. The list go's on, hydro, gas, nearly everything. Oh, and Nestle is taking our water.
