Bogs and dies
I have a 01 f250, that when I start it and put it in gear it bogs and dies, you can smell fuel, it starts right back up but dies it you dont keep the RPM's at 3000+. I need to hold it at that speed for a minute or 2 to get it to keep running. Any ideas? fuel filter maybe? Fuel pump? Ideal air control??

If the fuel filter has not been replaced in a while you could just replace it as it probably should be done anyway. However I've only ran into one newer vehicle with a clogged fuel filter and it would not go above idle.

Yes. You have to hold the gas pedal at 2000-3000 rpm's for a minute or so. Then runs fine. Once your moving there are never any issues.
