Hi there! My name is Jimmy and this is my first post. I usually can find the answers to my questions by just using the search function but I could not on this one. I have a 2001 E-450 V10 RV that is throwing codes P0174 and P0171 per AutoZone. These pictures are not of my exact engine and two that I located during my search. On my engine this hose is rotted out and I can pinch it with my two fingers it appears heat rotted. As soon as I touch the hose it falls apart.
Please help me ID the hose that has the red arrow pointed to it in the photo below:
Thank you for taking the time and looking at them to try and help me ID them.
I will be going out to the RV Storage this weekend to try and trace it away from the engine. I will replace and advise if it fixes the problem. I was hoping someone could tell me what it attaches to.
that hose is the vapor line from your tank the one side goes up to the engine that is controlled by the computer to draw the vapor into the intake the other side at the Y goes to the charcoal canister on the driver side wheel well. replace the hose with fuel rated rubber and you will be all set

Yep, 100%!
As mentioned in the other thread posted in the Vans Forums Lean Bank 1 & 2 codes are typically found to be the PCV hose leading to the back bottom of the throttle body. Someone here should know the proper part number for its replacement.
