You can get it anywhere. You just ask for hose and you specify ID (inner diamater). Priced by the foot. Purge cannister hose will most likely be in the neighborhood of 3/16" to 1/4" ID. Vacuum hose, heater hose, oil cooler hose, fuel line hose, they're all pretty much the same idea, just different ID's. Some applications require hose that will withstand certain chemicals or fluid pressures. Other hose, like the kind you need, is more general purpose. Find the ID of the hoses you are looking for, ask for the total length you need, take home and cut to fit.

BTW, don't be too hard on the parts guys - many of them are admittedly not mechanics and their job is to hook you up with parts and it is your job as the vehicle owner to determine what you need. If you don't call something by the right name, odds are they can't help you; they can't be familiar with every vehicle on the road. Just my 2 cents.

Advance (same company as you've mentioned--Kragers) carries the hoses in a small 5x5 box. We did most of our vacuum lines this way. It should also be in the same general area as the washer hose/pcv hoses/etc... It's not normally behind the counter, but in the general DIY sections. Poopboys also has various hoses available to buy per foot needed.

That big? 3/16" and 1/4" ID hose is really small. What do you mean? Sorry I just have a hard time believing you can't find a store to sell you that hose. It's pretty much the smallest hose on your truck, other than the windshield washer hoses.

No, its the carb bowl vent tube that goes to the purge solenoinds then down to the charcoal canister. Maybe 7/16 or 1/2"? I have all the other lines done new-just not those.

Gotcha, sorry I thought you meant vacuum lines. Hopefully there is a place that can help you out. I know Lowe's has cut-to-length hose; I do know they have spools of 5/8" ID heater hose.

They have rather large hoses in the 'boxed' section in the same display as the vacuum hose/washer tubes. Also PoopBoys carries bulk hoses sold by the foot in their stores. If the nosepickers can't find it? It's normally found (at least in my area) near the "Help" line section, or with bulk heater hose.

D4ZZ-9D667-A .. Fuel Vapor Storage Cannister Hose / 55" long ~ Cut to fit.

Still available from Ford.

Every autoparts store should have them.

Every FoMoCo vehicle has used the same one since 1970 (original p/n updated in 1974).

This is a corrogated flexible hose, it's not rubber or neoprene.

Well, thats not the one. I need the rubber hose coming from the carb bowl vents to purge solenoids to the evap canister. 3/8 seems too small. But once again, thanks Bill.
