Trailer Brake Controller Settings

I tow a 5th wheel with my 2014 F-250 that has an factory TBC. I just installed Electric over Hydraulic disc brakes on my 5th wheel and was trying to see if there was a setting I needed to change on the TBC to tell it that is now E/H versus E. In the Information section of the dashboard display it talks about the controller actuating electric drum brakes but the manual talks about it being able to do electric AND E/H. Does anyone know what I need to do here...if anything?

You should be able to access the trailer set up menu through the truck apps menu. I don't believe E/H is a choice.

I just checked my manual and checked the menu on the truck. There is no setting specifically for E/H or anything other than electric for that matter. Makes sense since you are activating an electric motor which activates the hydraulic portion of your brakes.

My 2013 has the option for electric or electric over hydraulic brakes in the menu. My buddies 2015 F350 has the same option.

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me where in the menu? I could not find it.

Move down to "Settings" in the menu, move right to "Driver Assist", move right to find "Trailer Brake Mode".
