7.5 Quarts in 6.2!!
I typically do that, adding between 7.3 and 7.5 quarts. It puts my level right at the top line.
Also I should note that usually I am doing something else to the truck simply because I like working on it (speaker upgrade, vacuum lines, TB cleaning, you name it) while it drips so it is maybe dripping for at least 30-45 min. sometimes 1.5 hr.

Just did my first oil change on my "new" to me 2016 F250 and had a similar experience to others. It took me 7.5 quarts to get to full. I also noticed that it took a couple seconds to make oil pressure on an empty filter when I started it up. I think I'm going to prefill the oil filter in the future because the FL-820s does have a substantial volume though it is not in diesel territory.
