Strange Steering Problem When Cold

Wow.....this is a long thread. So, My 2002 Ex gas just recently had the x/B spring code mod done. New u joints, steering stabilizer, shocks...etc. Tires are balanced and in good shape. Recently I started to notice a strange steering problem when cold. Cold meaning sitting over night, not temperature. Seems like I get a lot of wander first thing when I leave for work. The first time that it happened I pulled off to see if I had a low tire. It's really weird like when going around a gradual turn it feels almost like my front end is on a slippery surface? After about 5 miles it seems to go away. I was thing steering box but once it runs a few miles I don't really have any wandering or anything. Going to try flushing the power steering fluid out to see what that does. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

That thread was long because it was started in 2009.

I cut your post from that thread to create your own thread because your problem is completely different and doesn't add to the knowledge base of that specific thread, plus this way you get your problem addressed.

Don't worry Dino, I got your back, Jack.

Sorry, "Dino" just doesn't rhyme well with that phrase

Goodyear Wrangler E rated. 265/75/16.50 psi in front 45 in back. Tires are good, haven't measured tread depth but are rotated often and wearing normally. Shocks are from Cary at CT. Dual steering stabilizer is a Skyjacker. Just flushed power steering fluid and replaced with synthetic......no change

Good day, completely new here. Just wondering why a bad u joint would cause random wander? I'm experiencing the same problem with an '06 F250. Terrible wander when first going down the road "cold". Clears after a few miles
