So I was polishing my trim this evening and the phaking buffer caught the piece that goes around the passenger side side marker on the bed and bent the crap out of it! THE piece that goes around the marker light is jointed to a long straight piece. Now I can remove a screw and wiggle out this damaged piece. LMC sells the whole piece for a joke nearly 200 beans after shipping. Anyone happen to have that piece laying around or know of a place I can get one at? mine is a 77 shortbed, deemed styleside trim according to lmc. Any help is appreciate as my budget is about exhausted
Marker light on the cab or the bed? They may be the same.... I've got some laying around and I'll look tomorrow. If I have one you can have it for the postage.

marker light on the passenger side on the bed.....oh man you'd be my best buddy......if you can get a pic and post it of what you got if you have it, that'd be great!! just let me know
I didn't notice that I forgot to list the bed part....lol
I skipped over the part that said styleside trim. The piece I have is for racetrack trim and it's a lot rougher than I remembered. You can have it if you want it. I'm sure I was going to toss it. Start checking the J-yards or look in the for sale ads on the forum. Some members have a lot of parts the sell. Rich comes to mind. Sorry and good luck with it.
yeah that is the racetrack style....won't work for me.......but I really appreciate you going the extra mile.........I 've been looking non stop for the past day, so hopefully soon something will turn up.

Does the upper bedside mouldings have a black vinyl insert or not?
D3TZ-9929038-D .. Right Quarter Panel (bedside) Upper Side Moulding with Black Vinyl Insert-Use with 6 3/4' Styleside Bed / Reproduced by Carpenter
1973/76 F100/350 / 1977/79 F100/350 without Race Track Mouldings.
This moulding is listed in the 2011 edition of Carpenters 1967/79 paper parts catalog @ $125.00. It's probably gone up in price since.
Be aware that LMC and etc repro parts sellers buys this and the other mouldings from Carpenter, then marks the prices up.
I already knew all that....thing I'm trying to avoid is this simple mistake costing me an arm and a leg and halting my resto to recover from lack of funds and way over budget now
well, issue solved..........expensive mistake learned..........broncograveyard had one on closeout missing clips for 75.00 but 43.00 to ship.......man I can't win for losing!!!

The Bronco moulding is shorter than the one for F100/350 short bed.
The moulding you're referring to that surrounds the marker lamp was only furnished with the complete upper body side moulding, even though it can be "pulled off."

I didn't order a bronco moulding, they sell f150 parts as well, I ordered the correct moulding for the f150 shortbed......it is the whole complete moulding which is why it is so expensive to ship....I was just hoping someone here had the small piece I needed so I could do some patch work but as I'm on an accelerated time table I need to move this truck and get some of my money back, time i'll never get back
