Replacement flareside tail lights?

Hi,both of my tail lights fell apart while cleaning 30+ year old plastic.Pass side not a problem, but the drivers side factory has no plate light. all of the replacements do.My plate is below the bumper, factory. Are there any housings with out the plate light with 3 studs not 2?Or has anybody just painted the clear plastic for the unused light?

There was a post not long ago someone wanting tail lights and needing the side lights on them.
Do a search as there were links posted just don't remember about the plate light.
As you said may need to paint over it.

When you find something post back as I am sure it will help others.

Grote does make the light, 52802 and 52812. They don't have ford connectors but are 3 stud. That's what I bought and outside of the connections they are spot on replacements.

Hello, after calling everywhere and having no luck,a week to get, don't know what I am talking about, cost to much,no I don't want trailer lights ect..........I just when for a ride 30 miles away to an all truck salvage yard that I go to often.walk in tell them what you want and they find a get it.Turns out Jeep Wrangler lights all the way up to early 2000s are the same I got them from a 04 Jeep(50$) I just have to lengthen the wires and I painted the plate light black. I also ordered a new key parts flareside rear bumper from Jegs today.

I could have sworn LMC had theses assemblies listed

They only have the right side.

36-4439

NPD Link also only sells the right side.

Wonder why only the right side is being made and not the left. I really need the left as my side marker I keep having to glue it on and its a matter of time before it falls off on the road.

I never could find the left side. But outside of changing connections you won't be disappointed with the grote lights I listed earlier.

Chris,
I am in the same predicament as you...
In search of replacement tail lights for my '77 flair side.
and I saw a new jeep that has a VERY similar tail light assy.
now I haven't gone and talked to my local jeep dealer but in looking on line
it appears you could order one from jc witney for around $30.00 to $35.00
BUT.....I am un sure of the mounting screws/bolts configuration
planning on going by and looking at one tomorrow after work....
as far as sealing off the clear part on my GROTES (now this my sound red-neck-ish) I simply covered it from the inside with metal tape for higher reflectiveness
