serial number/vin
I have a '51 F-1 project/parts truck with no title I'd like to sell. Problem is the frame was cut off at the firewall and a late model front clip was added. So no serial number.
Was the number stamped anywhere else on the frame besides up front? Like maybe somewhere further back?
Cab is not original to the truck either.....it's kind of a mutt.

Not sure about the pre-53 trucks but does yours have a data plate? Not sure about MT but here in CA they aren't too fussy about frame #s as long as you have a data plate and a title or bill of sale.
