My truck has a bog problem,
When I floor it, it starts to bog out at 3850rpm to 4000rpm, and it won't climb any higher. Could this be valve float at such a low rpm. I acts like it wants to die but when I let off it goes back to normal. It is a 460 with edelbrock 750 carb. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joel
I have the same setup and noticed the same problem. I played around with the floats, the curb idle, and replaced the fuel pump, which has helped considerably.
