D3Ve's smog humps
Just read about the extra power if the humps are removed after I got my heads back from the machine shop.
Can I grind them down myself and could I damage the valve stems or seals from metal shavings?

And make sure you stay away from the valve seats. I nicked one and had to have it touched up. Even a slight scratch will effect the seal of the valve. Best bet is to use a layer of duct tape over the seats. Looks funny but it's better then paying to have the seat touched up.
