nothing new to report other than i might be buying a 96 ford econoline van for 300 bucks!

i has some problems, but i think if i play my cards right it will replace that pile of crap chevy el camino in my yard OR ill make money from it....time will tell.

hey sean i got some metal here at the house that might be good to make some of those drip catchers like you showed in post #1 got any dimensions of the finished product?

If you do that and time permits, can I come over and get a welding lesson while you work? I can bring my equipment.

BTW - I ended up sanding the disk after warping it with my torch.

Eyeballing, it looked like 10'' tall, 8'' wide and 4'' deep.


I'd adjust the height so it would be easy to refill a quart/liter Nalgene.


Welding lesson sounds like a good idea. A Working get-together - how's your weekend schedules in June?

Hey all.

I broke down and bought the HF sand blaster. Where do you buy your media. I blew through 25 lbs very quickly (on a low setting).

No - I'm not taking a trip to the beach to get beach sand.
