The loudest possible is relative. It depends on your States emissions testing and laws. I have hooker headers hooked to new 2.5" exhaust running through flow master glass packs and they are loud. If you want to get real loud, try running straight headers out of engine and then exhaust tubing to the sides. That's the loudest you can possibly get. If you want to have the best of both worlds you can buy decent high flow exhaust like flowmaster 40's and then install electric cutouts in the exhaust. These are flaps that open and redirect the exhaust out of the pipe before they reach your mufflers.

Run open headers through the firewall and into the cab. Should be as loud as you could possibly get. Don't drive with the windows up though.

On my '95 F150 302, I ran 2.25'' True Dual straights to 4''x24'' Angle Cuts. My buddy heard it a half mile away when i nailed it!

Headers and turn down tips hanging right off the the end. The sound will be under your truck and very loud, probably good enough for a ticket.

Remember LOUD done mean fast or high performance. The 302 is not a real go power house like a 460, but it will be annoyingly loud none the less.

Unless ya live in the sticks, an open exhaust system may result in you findng a brick on its bench seat.
