I hope this means that the dealerships will be keeping them in stock. I picked up a couple and keep them in the truck for emergency purpose.
I remember not to long ago that the dealership parts inventory was 0 on hand or available. I didn't want to be caught with my EGT pants down if you know what I mean.
But, good for Ford stepping up to the plate on the warranty extension. Will they also cover a free tow for such breakdowns?
I hope this means that the dealerships will be keeping them in stock. Hmmm...I hope so, too. I wonder if I should keep one on hand. What do they cost?

Good question. I didn't see that in the letter, so I would think not.
Was just curious since I know a few people that have had to pay out of warranty, but within the guidelines of the letter. I checked my mail and I have not gotten it yet. But being this is Alaska, by next weekend I should get it...
Received mine yesterday. It's at least a small amount of help if needed other than Ford saying "tough luck." I do think Ford should have responded sooner to the EGT issues though.
