Does anyone know what it takes to put a 460 in place of an older FT engine?
any information would be much appreciated.

FT engines: 330 2V Medium Duty / 330 2V Heavy Duty / 361 2V & 4V (1974/78) / 391 4V
FT's: 1964/78 500 and large series trucks; 1973/78 F350's made exclusively for U-Haul have the 330 2V Medium Duty.
460's were not installed in anything larger than an F350.

I'm trying to put a 460 out of my 79 250 into my 70 F600, and I'm trying to figure out how to mate the 4 speed in the 600 to the 460.
