First off sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place I'm new to this... I just recently bought a '69 bronco and the seller claimed it had a 351c, as I am not to savvy I'm not sure if this is true how can I tell?
The 351c was never factory installed in any truck but given the age of this one anything is possible so a picture is the quickest way to identify it or at least narrow down the possibilities. So snap some pics and post them up..

to the best forum on the site! Most folk are very helpful here, willing to lend a hand… let's C where we can get!
Don't think pic post can happen @ so few posts…is it 25 + 2 start to post pic?
First off - more info needed. Can U ID an 8 vs a six? I guess so if you think U have an 8.
If it is an 8/Ford it will have a casting number on the back of the block near where the starter is mounted. Right beside where the starter is mounted to the engine. With a ford this will tell year of design/no changes to design or series. It will also tell family. Ford is not about small block, big block but the bent8s have about 4 or five (after 'flathead') families & sz w/in those. There is no way to tell from casting # the model ford this hunk wuz placed in. The bronks had 2 I6s -170 (2.8L), 200 (3.3), & 2 bent8s: 289, 302 (no '5 oh').
I would next ID the bronk. In 50 yrs some 1 could have changed the glove box door where the 'tag' for ID of paint, rear gear, yr of build, GVW, etc are but it can give an indication. Broncohio has an on-line VIN decoder and you might enjoy more research on what U own…

Reason: spelling
351C: 1970/74 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars/Ranchero's. Has 8 valve cover bolts per side.
There is no timing cover per se, just a flat engine cover plate. The fuel pump bolts to the left (drivers) side of the block, its bolt pattern is at 3 & 9 o'clock.
The only V8 available in 1969/77 Bronco's was the 302, has 6 valve cover bolts per side.

1966/69 Bronco: Warranty Plate located on the left hand inner cowl panel / 1970/77 Bronco: Warranty Plate located on the inside of the glove box door.
