so i have had this sort of half baked idea bouncing around the ol' noodle for a while and i thought i'd see what you all thought. so the idea is this find a 4x4 thats clapped out or rusted out body wise, find crew cab cab, find bronco body, and through witchcraft and sorcery ( mass amounts of labor, boat loads of welding and body work) combine them into something like a centurian (except with better body work) with a gigantor engine of some type and try to keep it looking as though it came from ford. thoughts/ comments appreciated.
p.s. this probably wont happen any time soon i just wanted to bounce ideas around to get the ol' hamster going.
Dunno. Do some research and look up wheelbases and cab measurements and determine the best course of action based on various combinations.
but..but..but.. fine. lol, well it probably wont happen for a good while so i suppose i have time for research i suppose....... me thinks this is going to be a massive can-o-worms perhaps

BIG TIME... but hey, that's what "hot rodding" is all about.
It can be easier if you know what is needed to be done... then a plan and due courses of action can be plotted out to reduce "surprises".
Personally, I have this desire of building a lowered crewcab dually.

oh i have other ideas but believe it or not i think this one might be the easiest lol. i need to win the lotery so i can afford to build all of my ideas hahaha
Nice idea, if you use a reg cab frame and crew cab (cab) it is not going to have much left for a Bronco tail end. So maybe locate a SC LB frame and go from there? I like this different route...

most intriguing my good sir, i'm hoping to figure out how to use a highboy frame as i know where a few are but if a super cab frame it must be then well i suppose i find a supercab frame.. perhaps combine a 2wd supercab frame and above mentioned highboy frame for making of 4x4? the squirrel is definitely running now.....
i also have another idea for a full independant air ride 6x6 crew cab on 37s with a diesel of some kind. i'm torn between the crew cab bronco ******* child and this idea.....
