H&S Intercooler Pipe Upgrade

Those that have upgraded, who did you order from? Got a bigger toy hauler & the possibility of the factory one blowing up on me has me concerned for some reason. So, looking for the best price. Thanks.

Just an FYI, my previous toyhauler weighed 16k and my current one goes 17-19k based on how loaded the garage is and I've never blown anything in over 20k miles of towing them. I understand the desire to upgrade things and I'm not criticizing your decision. Just saying, these trucks can do a quite a bit without issue in stock form...

I agree with you 100%. Especially where you say "in stock form". Which is where my "concern" comes in.

We've had two of the stock ones come apart on stock F350 chassis/cab ambulances. That's why I have a concern while towing. What other options are out there for stock ones?

I've replaced 3 for friends. Two were stock trucks in the 40-50k mile range and the other was tuned with 110k. These bombs go off at the worst time.

H&S makes two versions. One needs custom tuning, the other can be used on a stock truck. I believe the Mishimoto kit can be used on a stock truck as well.

Correct. One H&S kit leaves the factory throttle body in place which works for stock trucks.

The other H&S kit completely removes the throttle body and requires tuning to work.

I like the idea of that AMDP above. I will have to check. Will it work on a 2014 with the stock turbo or is it like the Midwest kit that only works with 15 and up turbos?

I got my H&S kit from No Limit. Same price as everywhere else and easy purchase.

My understanding it's 11-16 for that kit, should work as long as you have the delete kits too. Still waiting for down pipe then it can all be shipped up and delete time and methanol. Yeehaaa
