I'm almost certain in all 1999 F350 dullies came with a Dana 80 rear. 1999+ SRW came with Sterling 10.5. 93-97 had Sterling 10.25 long pinion. IIRC 1993 down had a short pinion Sterling10.25.
I know for certain the rear covers are different on a SRW & DRW 2005 F350.

My 06 F350 SRW is the Sterling 10.5.

Dana rears are only in dually Super Duties. SRW SDs have the 10.5 rear axle.

Apparently this is not the company that makes the USA Standard gear set. They make US Gear.

So any other option or will I just have to buy another set from a manufacturer that actually supports their product?

Can you get any info from the place you bought them? If they cant help you return the items and buy from a better supplier.

They came with the truck. I knew ahead of time they need to be changed. No idea where they were bought.

I would go to there website and call one of the distributors and see if they can help. If you get no place, bite the bullet and buy from a place that will stand behind the product.

Well, I did "bite the bullet". Got these:

https://www.ringpinion.com/b2c/Produ...rd&ShowAA=true

The sales dude was aware of the ring gear problem. Came with a lifetime warranty too. Thanks for the help guys.

Sorry you had to buy a set but at least you have a company to call if you have a problem.

I think the problem you were having was the guy that gave you the set bought the wrong ones for a different carrier. 2 sets are available depending on what carrier your truck has depending on the stock gear ratio. The set you linked is for a carrier 4.10 and higher.
I ran into this doing an axle build & gear swap on a Jeep with Trutrac lockers.
Glad you got it worked out.
