We just purchased a 1972 Ford Ranger XLT.
It has a factory A/C that works and cools very well.
The humidity in the south is causing a great deal of condensation buildup along the bottom of the drain pan inside the cab and it drips constantly on the floor board.
Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have a solution?
The drain hose is flowing freely.
The drain pan gets so cold that it creates condensation that then drips onto the floorboard
Mine is not that bad, but it leaks around the plumbing and then on the floor. I've tried to reseal it with silicone, but have not tried it enough to get a good test.
I would assume if you could get any kind of insulation around it then it would not condense. It would probably be difficult to make look nice though.
