I did verify against that web page. Mine is on the recall list. A phone call to Dometic confirmed that but they were unable to confirm if the recall had actually been performed. I sent them a copy of the same picture I posted here.

By all means get it installed but pay attention to how the thermal fuse is installed, mine was installed so that the lead rubbed agianst the metal shield and shorted out and blew the refrigerator 12v fuse when we were boondocking on our way to Alaska.

I would have to remove some of the new shielding to get to it and that hasn't been off since I replaced the cooling unit with a new Amish one.

This is what it looks like with the recall installed. The new shields stop any flame from leaving the burner area and the added safety devices shuts it down faster.

This may be a dumb question, but I'm good at those...

What is the best way to clean out that rear compartment? I supposed a pressure washer isn't the best tool for the job.

Blow it out with compressed air. As you can see bymine we have been sitting in AZ in the dusty desert air
