I have a 03 that is completely stock. It is my work truck. I tow alot of heavy trailers. I want to start adding some upgrades. What should I start with.
Gauges, gauges, gauges! Whether you do external or some through the OBD II port. With the latter you will still need an EGT and I would highly recommend a fuel pressure gauge also.
I would also recommend upgrading to the 6.0 tranny cooler (easy swap) if you tow heavy, it will help keep your tranny temps in check.
A lot depends on how far you want to go and how much you want to spend. We love helping people spend their money here!

What is a good brand of gauges? I definitely need the tranny cooler I think.

ISS Pro and autometer seem to be popular i believe. I personally have glowshift, they are cheap, and some people have had problems with their longevity, but mine have been in about 2 years and I have yet to have a hint of a problem out of them.
There is also the phone / tablet option using torque pro and the such pulling from your OBD II port (except EGT and fuel pressure of course)
You can click the Custom Tunes link in my signature for some information on upgrades, and you can click the OBDII tools link in there for more info on OBDII gauges.
