Cracked flex plate!

Cracked flex plate!
I got everything buttoned up on my swap. When installing the torque converter nuts I noticed a crack on the flexplate. Cn the crack be welded or do I have to get a new flexplate?

Yes, it can be welded but by the time you pay for re-balancing, etc., just buy a new one.

I have the heavy duty flex plate on my old motor I am just going to swap it out once this rain goes away.
