Question to those who have the Bilstein 5100 shocks. I have a stock 2013 F150 with about 50,000 miles on it. Seems to have developed a rumble above 40mph. Best way to describe is it feels like going down a gravel road. Earlier this year I put on LT tires. I know this will make for a rougher ride but it has gotten worse, didn't notice too much change when I put them on. Had them checked and they are balanced and rotated.
How has the ride been from stock to the Bilsteins? I have seen some comments that it can be firm. Not really concerned about the firm but rather getting rid of the hop or rumble.
Also want to confirm the part numbers:
Front 24-239394
Rear 33-187501
These show will work with zero lift.
Thanks for any info.
On my F150's, one of my first mods is to ditch the factory shocks for the 5100's. I think they ride better than the factory ones. The oem shocks are too soft which makes the truck bounce and roll. With LT tires you should have a good set of heavy duty shocks.
