Which Shocks

I am looking changing the shocks on my 98 F150 4x4. It has over 170000 and i do not think they have ever been changed. So the big questions is which shocks are best for mostly street driving.

I put Rancho RSX's on my 2002 F-150 over 30,000 miles ago. They were and still are a huge improvement over the factory shocks. The ride and handling is soooo much better.

I changed out my stock shocks for Edelbrock IAS. WOW what a difference over the Ranchos that came with it and they only had 30k on them.

i like the monroe gas matics...i think thats what they are called..very responsive..i installed the yellow magnums on the back of the truck at the same time i did the fronts, what a differance...the yellow ones are a waste of money...i can really tell when i go over speed bumps at a slow speed...
and on the freeway..
the magnums are not really very good with the larger tires that we have on these trucks....

i got sensatrac and hate them. they r way softer then the original and they started to leak. They said they r supposed to do that when they r new cause they could of been overfilled from factory. my factory FX4 ones were much better.

I'm using the Monroe Reflex shocks on my work truck, and I put the Bilsteins on the Navigator. Both are excellent choices, and both have excellent warranties.
