2007 E450 6.0
Hey guys. Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I need some help/advice. I plan to build a camper so I have been looking for a Ambulance or Van.
I just came upon a 2007 E450 for sale. It belonged to a Fire Dept. It shows 126k miles on the dash but the engine was replaced at 106k in 2013. The transmission was also replace in 2013. It was a surplus van that they decide to sell. I saw some pictures and was considering going and see it in person. It is an hour drive from where I live,so it will be pretty difficult getting a local mechanic to go with me.
I feel pretty confident that it is a good truck. I just would like some advice as to what I should look for when I go by and see it. I went to the local ford dealer and they were able to pull up the oasis on it. The guy walked me through it and said it had a clean background. The only issue it had was a fuel leak which was replaced along with an O Ring.
Any advice? What should I look for? Any suggestions.
