I wouldn't run a two piece unless I had to.

my c6 has a fixed yoke and it is from a 1969 f250 truck. I could try it or find a bell housing and flex plate that would fit a fmx that I have. if I make a cross member for the carrier bearing it may work but I will need the rear shaft cut to fit. one thing after another but if it was all was easy anybody could do it

You may be able to source another C6 with a slip yoke I think they made them later in the 70's if you can get the drive shaft too then just have that shortened?

being on disability and money is tight so I will run it since I know it's a good tranny. I don't know why I didn't think of running a shaft with a slip joint. Thanks' for the reminder of using one
