NEED HELP!!!

I can take one finger and spin my steering wheel full left and right. There is no Resistance at all. Very scary to drive. Would it be the steering box. I am supposed to be at a military school tomorrow need to fix asap. Thanks

Do the wheels turn when you turn the wheel? Could be steering gear box or the bearings in the steering colum itself.

You can tighten down the sector shaft nut&bolt a bit. But go easy, a little goes a long way!!
