My friends dad just bought a 1996 F-150. The guy who sold it to him told him it was a rare north woods edition and it has emblems on the side and on the tailgate. I was wondering if there ever was such a thing or not, it doesnt seem to be loaded with options or anything so my friend and i thought maybe it was a scam. Any imfo on this would be appreciated.
Yea, mine is a "Ducks Unlimited Edition." The only diffrence that I think I have is the paint job. It's green and grey and I haven't seen it duplicated on any other trucks that I've seen so far.
Ford had a northland edition available, which had extra insulation and a block heater from the factory as a package.; I've come across a few, but never seen any with stickers.
The late 80's and very early 90's northlanders ordered with a 300 and a 5-speed, came shod with a ZF instead of a M5OD. Those are extrememly rare. Talk about a tough combination.
