Ka'Bluey

Hey everybody, just wanted to share a couple of pictures of mt boy "Ka'Bluey". I sold him 3 years ago in Southern Missouri to help pay for the move to North Carolina.
Within the first year to year and a half he was sold 3 more times, with a couple of these people running him ragged.
The third owner's are friends from back home, and FTE members. They did some repairs that were needed, and let me know they had him and would only sell him back to me.
So we made payment arrangements, and I'm proud to say that after selling him three years ago, and 1000 miles away, he's paid for and in my driveway.
Here's a couple of pictures from the night we got him off of the transport carrier.

Unk Bob

I am really glad you got your trusty rig back!! I couldn't bear to sell mine, too much emotion and work invested, for it only to go to the same kind of abusive owner that I rescued it from.

Your right about emotions, it's crazy how we can get attached to a machine. I owned this same truck for six years and did a lot of work it him. We even had a FTE Cab Swap weekend about 5 years ago.
The floor boards were rusted beyond what a patch panel would even come close to fixing.
Here's a few pictures from our FTE Cab Swap.

Had a dream that I traded my truck off and it ended up in bad hands. Got it back, but when I woke up, that sealed it, the truck will abide.

I do understand, this truck will never see another for sale sign. I'm willing it to my son Tim, he's 21 now and loves that old truck.

It is comforting to know that your truck will be in good hands after you. Make sure you tell him that you will haunt him if he tries to sell it off or abuses it.

And here is Ol Ka'Bluey from back in the day. I know where you got that red cab and front clip from...

I remember that day you got the front bumper and OEM push bar for 50 bucks at the swap meet.

That bottom picture got Ka'Bluey also called the Superman Truck. The primer came along after I really got going on the bodywork. And really for the most part looks the same now.

I'm sure you do know where that perty red cab came from. And that was a SMOKING deal on that push bar and correct year front bumper.
Would you by any chance still have that nice after market front grill that I gave back to you after selling Ka'Bluey? I'd be interested in buying it
